Flutie Foundation supports BCNC Families

We are thankful to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism for supporting for our work with children with special needs. BCNC Family Services supports Chinese immigrant families of children with autism in Boston and Quincy through parent education workshops, family support groups, music therapy, and case management services. BCNC Portrait: Fangqin

Fangqin first came to BCNC with her daughter for a Parent Child Literacy Group. When she discovered BCNC provides resources for families with children with special needs, she sought support for her son with hearing loss. BCNC staff gave Fangqin guidance on services for her son and welcomed her to a community of parents who have children with special needs. Fangqin shares, “When I come to BCNC, I feel very comfortable and I know my children and I will be accepted.” Watch this video about Fangqin’s story.
